This is something that I do weekly as a personal practice for my brain, body and Soul.
I especially do it in during the Full Moon week and times of transition.
This being the Full Moon week, time change and weather change can affect my brain and body so much!
This time can cause me to be extra tired, extra emotional and feel extra off balance.
This time may be challenging for me, but it's exactly what my body, mind and soul needs!
It helps me be in the here and now. Giving me a beautiful choice to just be.
I am taking advantage of this slow energy today.
I am taking today to re-balance and rest.
I will go slow and listen to my body.
I will be gentle and let my mind rest.
I love doing Full Moon Yoga Nidra to help me fall back to sleep or just get some needed rest.
Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, induced by a guided meditation. 1 hour of Yoga Nidra can equal to 4 hours of regular sleep.
Not only does Yoga Nidra relax my mind, it also relaxes my body and my soul.
I will be giving myself some sacred space today and honor what my body desires.
The best thing I love about this, is I don't have to just do the practice of Yoga Nidra during this Full Moon time, to help with energy, balance and well-being. I can do it anytime I need a pick me up!
